- Interview with Andy Murray
In this episode, we speak with Andy Murray, Andy was the European Marketing Director at Warner Music International and played a pivotal role in managing the marketing and promotion of The Corrs' albums. In our interview, we hear how he first heard of the band, his filming of the early Electronic Press Kit, and his helping to finalise a needed edit of the band’s music video for ‘Love to Love You'. He also conceptualised the band’s live EP, ‘The Corrs Live', to showcase the band’s live abilities, which contributed significantly to their widespread recognition as more than just a 'good-looking' pop act. As a long-term fan himself, he provides unique insights into his experiences with The Corrs, offering a behind-the-scenes perspective on the meticulous work that shaped not only the promotion and production of 'Forgiven, Not Forgotten' but beyond. Mark Petchey interview Live from Cincinnati Open Andy Murray at US Open? TennisPAL Chronicles the podcast to feed your passion for all things tennis. This is a special report coming to you live from the Cincinnati Open Tennis Tournament where our Andy Murray Fan Favorite reporter Peter Childs was able to meet Mark Petchey - former coach for Andy Murray and ask him a few questions live. Peter also shares his fan experience being at the Cincy Tournament for the 3rd time and gives us his story about meeting Andy Murray and receiving a Selfie and book signature from his hero and number one inspiration. Being close to the Andy Murray camp there at the tournament, Peter learned of a surprise decision regarding the US Open and Andy’s plans in New York. I interviewed Peter past midnight via Skype in his hotel just outside the tournament on the day he was able to as interview Mark Petchey. The interview happened live at Cincinnati so you will hear a lot of crowd noise and tournament play in the background. Please excuse the lesser audio quality of the interview and the Skype call but I am sure you will feel like we do that it was a special moment and we are grateful to have it on TennisPAL Chronicles.
