YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Katherine Jakeways, creator, writer, and executive producer of the upcoming British drama series The Buccaneers. The television series is based on the unfinished novel of the same name by Edith Wharton, published posthumously in 1938. The series follows a group of American women arriving in 1870s London and their journey in trying to secure husbands and titles, finding themselves along the way. The series will premiere on November 8 on Apple TV+, and season one will consist of eight episodes. We asked Katherine about any advice for girls trying to get into the entertainment industry and she said if it is something you love to do, keep trying to get your name out there.
